This program introduces youth to the rich history of Fernandeño Tataviam villages, cultural sites, state parks, and ocean and river environments, offering a hands-on exploration of the land. Students and families will journey across traditional Tataviam lands, making contemporary connections to these historical places while gaining a deeper understanding of local heritage. Participants will also develop valuable environmental, naturalist, and survival skills, fostering a greater appreciation for the natural world and their cultural roots.
