Field Trip: Ronald Reagan Library
During their 7th week of camp, students visited the Ronald Reagan Library and were able to see the Genghis Khan exhibit. During the Genghis Khan, the students were each given a “name” of someone historically connected to the exhibit; at each area, students were to follow up with “their journey’. Some students were Princesses who were married young, another of a boy growing up and establishing theirselves during the reign of Genghis Khan. While exploring the RRL, for some students it was their first time walking inside an airplane- what a treat to walk through the Air Force One!
Fun Fact: Did you know that Ronald Reagan picked up the habit of eating jelly beans to quit smoking? The art portrait of RR is made of jelly beans!
