This summer, ECLD youth participated in an exciting adventure at Malibu Creek State Park, where they spent the day exploring local trails, connecting with nature, and learning about the environment through hands-on experiences. Participants enjoyed the opportunity to build friendships, stay active outdoors, and deepen their appreciation for the natural world.
The Malibu Creek excursion was part of ECLD’s Summer Adventure Series, which provides youth with opportunities for outdoor exploration, personal growth, and meaningful connections to the land. During the trip, youth observed local wildlife, explored the park’s natural landscapes, and practiced teamwork while navigating the trails together.
