This past Saturday January 26, 2019, our Native youth attended the first Traveling Tataveaveat Workshop at Coaynga! The presenter was a Tribal Elder Alan Salazar, who educated students about the village and provided a abalone necklace activity while also providing great information on the traditional uses for abalone shells.
A huge thank you to everyone who was able to attend and to those who have been working very hard on working on the Village!!
If interested in the next Traveling Tataveaveat workshop on February 9th, please contact the ECLD Office at (818) 837-0794 or education@tataviam-nsn.us
